Last night we braved the crowds and the weather to try out the new Bite Market a North Harbour Burpengary. So exciting to have a place such as this to meet with friends and family, just a few minutes drive from Narangba.
I am pleased to report that it is quite impressive! The first night traffic was as expected, but there was plenty of staff directing cars and ample parking.
The layout is much more open than the competitions, making it easy to walk along and view each food container without having to cut through queues. We found a table to seat a group of 9 quite easily.
There was at least 4 ATM's located at the entrance and the toilets were clean and well maintained throughout the evening. With added bonus of there being twice as many female toilets as male!
There is a wide variety of food options from around the globe, as well as vegan and gluten free choices.
There is a large children's play area and live music.
While I didn't see any beer or spirit vendors, there was wine and alcoholic frozen drinks available.
All in all I think it is a well planned venue and I look forward to trying out many more of the food options. The only downside was that there is very little shelter, so when a light shower came through everyone had to run for cover under the awnings of the food vendors. Speaking to the vendors though, large shelters are in the pipeline. But until then, maybe pack a brolly!
