The 'Notorious' Black Ship is a recreation of a 1480's caravel. You can visit the 'Notorious' ship at William Gun Jetty, Manly Harbour from 10am-4pm each day until Sunday, 12th July. Adults are $5, Children are $2. (Children must be accompanied by an adult) You can spend as much time as you want on board. There is a fantastic park right beside the marina to enjoy a picnic. There's a new park in Narangba and the locals are loving it. Located off Stone Ridge Boulevard, Stone Ridge Central Park is set amongst nature and encourages kids to explore. The park features a flying fox for the older kids, a picnic shelter with a barbeque, drinking fountains, a small basketball court and a lead free park for dogs. Here's another really easy craft activity the whole family can get involved in creating. All you need is an empty egg carton, paint, glue and skewers or pipe cleaners for the stems. Cut the middle of the egg carton as shown in the top left image. This will be the centre of the flower. Then cut out an equal number of 'cup' parts. Paint the individual parts in your desired colours. Once dry, glue the centres (we used split pins to attach them, but this was not necessary).
